Certified (Stated Value) Appraisals

Mid County Classic Mustang performs comprehensive Certified Appraisals on 1965-1973 Mustangs. A complete inspection, evaluation & authentication of your classic Mustang is conducted utilizing our experience, research manuals, and market guides to accurately reflect the vehicle's current real value. The appraisal is prepared on a pre-printed notarized form, accompanied by color photography. Each appraisal comes with a full report that grades (on a five point scale), and identifies each aspect (Appearance, Structural, Interior, Mechanical, Equipment & Options), of the vehicle.

Certified Appraisals are useful in the following cases:

• Establish value prior to buying or selling

In a “Fair Market Value” policy, there is often a difference in opinion between insurer and insured as to the "fair market value" of a special automobile. A Certified Appraisal in this case would be a crucial factor in your favor. Without an appraisal on record, it is almost certain that you will not be properly compensated for your vehicle by your insurance carrier. This will require that you enter into arbitration, which can be costly, or worse yet, into prolonged legal action.
